I know its January, the budget is low, and with the added emotional roller-coaster that comes with new year new me vibes and closure from a 20 something year old drowning in the hectic wave of 2018, we're all wishing that some way, some how retail therapy was covered by our medical aid.
I am here to remind you that there is absolutely no shame in emotional shopping, lol. In future, put money aside and let it chill there for your "add to cart" kind of day so that when you feel like you need to uplift your spirit, some retail therapy will be there to help regain sanity in the madness of our usual day to day hustle. I have a degree in retail therapy boo, trust me when I say, it is most certainly the best remedy to anything or anyone killing your vibe.
Draw up a monthly 'must haves' list and if you are feeling some type of way, you can always lean on the money that you put away in your retail therapy piggy bank, pick an option or two, or three from your list and just go with it lol.

Something cute for my room
I am actually busy renovating my room at the moment. (blog post to follow soon)
Your room should be a reflection of who you are, these lights will bring a little drama to the cute pastel colour scheme, the glitter accent wall and random mismatched furniture I have going on in there. A little extra lighting would be the cherry on top for the perfect look and feel of my room.
